Find and share ways to be involved in prevention activities across our region!
COME TO A MEETING
Find a meeting – everyone is welcome! We convene monthly meetings as opportunity for people and organizations across Northwest and Central Vermont to come together to share information, make connections, and explore opportunities related to prevention of substance misuse and promoting wellbeing in our communities. See below for examples of previous meeting topics and the notes from our meetings over the past 12 months.
STAY INFORMED
Sign up to receive Prevention Network communications and get updates and information about opportunities, resources, events, and more – we send about three emails per month. For more information please contact Mahat Abdullahi.
VOLUNTEER
Many of our partner organizations are looking for volunteers, especially those whose work revolves around mentorship, restorative justice, social connection and sense of belonging. You can search for local volunteer opportunities contributing to prevention on United Way’s Volunteer Connection site, where you can filter by location, organization, or by impact area.
People and organizations are coming together around a holistic approach to preventing substance misuse and promoting wellbeing in our communities. We use our monthly meetings to highlight some of that work.
